FrieslandCampina WAMCO, makers of Peak milk and Nigeria’s leading dairy brands, is aware of online news about a claim of congealed milk bought from an independent seller in an area of Lagos State.
The Executive Director, Corporate Affairs Ore Famurewa, in a press statement,
Our Company is currently collaborating on a joint investigation with the Lagos State Consumer Protection Agency (LASCOPA) over the issue to address any public concern.
So far internal and external investigations have shown that the integrity of our manufacturing, batching, warehousing, and distribution of our products has remained intact.
Famurewa said that in a meeting with the Agency and other stakeholders, FrieslandCampina WAMCO reiterated its commitment to the sale of only genuine, high-quality Peak products that are safe for consumption and fit for use as per the product label and expiry details.
Following this, the Company has called on consumers to always use its expanded toll-free number and email on the pack of all its products to liaise with dedicated professionals on any inquiry. This platform caters to consumers across Nigeria.
