- How family friend allegedly rapes twelve-year-old physical challenge in Ikorodu
A father of three, 50 years-old Richard Azuka has allegedly raped a 12-year-old physical challenge girl friend daughter in Lagos State.
The act allegedly occurred in August 23rd 2023, at No 5 Olanrewaju Anifowose Close Off Igbogbo Baiyeku Ikorodu Lagos
Our correspondent learnt the suspect allegedly made sexual advancement towards the teenager whenever he sights her until that unfaithful day he knew she is alone in the house.
It was gathered that the suspect pay a visit to the house when he knew nobody is around, forced her with knife before he penetrated her on two occasions and warned her not to tell anyone or he will kill her.
A source within the residents said he was exposed when the victim father came back from work,the victim informed her father that brother Richard was here,but the victim father never sense any danger because as a family friend and also a church member maybe he came to check on the family.
However, when the victim mother was bathing her,she was crying of pains on her private part and the mother checked the victim’s only to discover that she had buises and she asked what happened to her she said brother Richard was here and touch her private part with his pee pee
The matter was reported to the Police at Igbogbo police Division and the suspect was arrested and he admitted that whatever that happened it was devil that push him
Consequently the suspect was charged before the Ikorodu high 1 Court for the alleged offence, which attracts several years of imprisonment
The court refer the matter to the DPP for legal advice why waiting for the advice November court sitting the suspect was granted bail without the knowledge of the victim family only for them to see the suspect in church on first Sunday in December with friends and family for Thanksgiving that God had verdict him.
According to the source, the suspect alleged that with money everything is possible that there’s nothing the victim family do again as far as he has granted bail.
Rape is a harmful and monstrous act, which has become prevalent across the nation something urgent need to be done.
