Lagos police officer give information to robbery gang,suspect reveals
CP Sylvester Abiodun Alabi,the commissioner Lagos state command has ordered for identification of a rogue policeman said to be an informant to robbery gang ,Festac area
The Command’s Spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed this through press statement that, “The attention of the Lagos State Police Command has been drawn to the above titled publication in Vanguard Newspaper of March 19, 2022.”
According to Hundeyin, “The Command wishes to inform the general public that upon receipt of the information, the Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alabi, fdc, mnim, psc ordered the immediate identification and arrest of the rogue police officer.”
“Police boss has vowed that any police officer found undermining the tireless efforts of the Command to rid Lagos State of crime and criminality would be appropriately sanctioned.”
Meanwhile,CP Alabi has assured Lagos residents that their safety and security remains paramount to the Command and as such, no stone will be left unturned to ensure same.
