Late Alaafin of Oyo final burial ceremony holds June 4th
Ceremony to mark the final burial of Oba Dr Lamidi Olayiwola Atanda Adeyemi 111,JP,LLD,CFR will be held on Saturday 5th June 2022.
The BoT Chairman of Anti-corruption Awareness Organisation Nigeria(ACAON), SCPN Alhaji Kola Adeyemi,hinted our correspondents.
Recall that the late Alaafin joined his ancestors on Friday April 22nd, 2022, at the age of 83 after 52 years of reign.
Adeyemi said that the immediate past family of Alaafin ,the entire families of Oyo Kingdom and Oyo state government under the governorship of his Excellency Engr.Oluwaseyi Makinde has agreed on the date.
According to him the burial ceremony will take place at Oyo palace grand for the Royal families, while the guests will be at Durbar stadium.
