YCA USA celebrates Awujale at 90.
The Yoruba Cultural Alliance (YCA) in the United States has congratulated Ijebuland’s Awujale, Oba Sikiru Adetona Ogbagba II, on his 90th birthday anniversary.
The President of YCA USA, Abiodun Akinfenwa described Awujale as a monarch whose noble contributions to the Yoruba heritage and nation-building in various capacities. The outstanding and selfless leadership qualities of the paramount ruler.
According to the president, “On behalf of the Yoruba Cultural Alliance, USA, I congratulate the Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona Ogbagba II, on the occasion of his 90th birthday anniversary.”
“Your dedication to the welfare of your subjects and our country and its people is highly appreciated. May you continue to lead a long and healthy life,” Akinfenwa added.
While calling on politicians across the country to emulate the remarkable legacy of the monarch. Oba Adetona is a rare gem, a statesman, and a philanthropist par excellence.
