 FRSC: Night Journey Claims 16 Lives in Lagos
 Two vehicles crashed in the early hour of today 2nd August, 2022 along Alaro City, Epe area of Lagos
The crash occurred at about 3am due to a result of reckless driving within the construction corridor.
According to Route Commander Olabisi Sonusi anipr,the Public Education Officer
,Federal Road Safety Corps FRSC Lagos,through e-signed press released said that total number of Twenty-three male adult were involved in the accident 16 persons dead, 5 injured were taken to the hospital by the corps rescue team,while 2 persons were rescued without any injuries.
“The vehicles involved in the accident is a white bus with Registration number KTN 262YJ and an Articulated truck Registration Number which were unknown,he added
The operatives and other emergency management agencies were on ground ensuring prompt recovery and evacuation of the vehicles.
The Sector Commander Federal Road Safety Corps Lagos Sector Command Corps Commander Olusegun Ogungbemide advised motorists to always avoid night travelling because of impaired visibility at that hour.
He also admonished motoring public to always observed construction signage and speed limits at such zones.
Ogungbemide is also using this medium to commiserate with the families of the deceased, while wishing the injured a quick recovery.
