Yet to declared my intention,seek for divine guidance and direction from the Almighty God
Until I hear from God I will make my intention known and declare publicly said a former chairmanship aspirant under the umbrella of All Progressive Congress (APC) at Ijede Local Government Hon. Oluwatosin Onamade
Onamade said that there are calls and pressures from families, friends, supporters and leaders of his political party to declare his intentions to run for the Lagos State house of assembly Ikorodu constituency 11 during the forth coming 2023 general elections.
The businessman called for calm noting that he has decided to seek from God direction before taking any decision.
Onamade said while addressing pressmen at his office, Ijede area of Ikorodu, Lagos State.
According to Onamade, “the past few weeks has been a very positive one for me as I have received so many words of encouragement and requests from families, friends, loved ones and some political leaders urging me to declare my intentions to put myself forward and participate in this coming 2023 elections.”
“I am deeply touched by the resilience of my teeming supporters who have overwhelmed my phone with plenteous calls to indicate their undying love and support for me, and hundreds of our youth populace who are eagerly anticipating my announcement to this effect.”
While dismissing claims that he has secretly declared his intentions to run for any particular position in the forth-coming elections, he stated that he has decided to seek the divine guidance and direction from the Almighty God before making any declarations.
He said, “I will declare my intentions very soon, but first, I must seek God’s direction before anything .
“My sincere appreciation to everyone, who has reached out to me, including my friends in United Kingdom, the United States of America and several other countries across the globe. God bless you all.”
“May I use this opportunity to state that I am taking my time praying and seeking direction from GOD. There is also need for me to consult and seek direction from my leaders and mentors all over.”
“All my political leaders and associates must also be consulted.”
“Based on my years of experience and growth in politics, all my actions have been consciously targeted towards knowing the true needs of the electorates, the constituents and by extension, my constituency. I must be sincere enough to check if I fit into the mode of one who can honestly solve the challenges bedeviling Ikorodu constituency II, and bring about the needed change without fear or sentiment.”
I have been around long before now for me to make positive impact in constituency II “IF” I choose to “run”.
My utmost desire has always been towards advancing the course of our people and developing our precious constituency II. This is borne out of selflessness, honesty and aspiration to always serve.
“All well-wishers and political leaders should be expecting my response on my interest concerning 2023 electoral process soon, hopefully after our party National Convention”,”I believe with God all things are possible. With the voice of the Almighty God, it shall end in praise” he said.
